Splattering Paint

I spent all of my afternoon (until practice) in the art building today, bonding with Caitlin, who’s ALWAYS in there. She’s working on a sweet project that involves paint splattering, AND SHE LET ME SPLATTER PAINT FOR THE FIRST TIME!

And that’s not all. I saw the result of putting one blank surface over an already splattered one—a super cool texture, like veins on leaves, and great color mixture. I’ll spy on Caitlin tomorrow and get some photos.

Oh, and remember my new freshman bestie? I bumped into him again, and he brought up our pretend ice-skating hang-out that we started planning that one day. I played along, and he said something about how great the food was. “I know! That was so much fun.”
